"Match the words to the pictures"
For SMP dan SMA Students
🎮 Game Synopsis
If you’re having trouble because your voice isn’t being recognized, try adjusting your computer’s built-in microphone volume first!
To use the game properly, you need to allow your browser to access your microphone.
This page only works in Google Chrome because it uses a special feature that recognizes your voice and displays the words you say. This feature requires permission. The first time you open the page, you’ll see a small pop-up at the top. Click “OK”, then click “Allow” so Chrome can access your microphone. If microphone access is blocked, you’ll usually see a small microphone icon in the top-right corner. Click the icon and allow microphone access.
Once access is enabled, you’ll see the main screen with a text box and a voice recognition tool. Try speaking into your microphone, and your words will appear on the screen. You may need to adjust the microphone volume so your voice can be recognized properly. Make sure it’s not too quiet or too loud.
This page is designed to show how your voice can be recognized by a computer. Once your voice is recognized, the Start button will appear at the bottom. The button will only appear after you speak into the microphone.
This game is designed to help you learn English in a fun and interactive way!
The game is not intended to evaluate your pronunciation. Instead, it helps you become more comfortable saying English words out loud. While other pages on this website focus on listening practice, this game gives you a chance to practice saying the vocabulary yourself.
On the main screen, click Start to begin. You’ll see a picture, and your task is to say the name of the object in English. If you don’t know the word, click the audio button to hear it, then try saying it yourself.
This is a great way to learn new vocabulary! Look at the picture, listen to the word, and repeat it until you can say it.
The more you play, the more comfortable you’ll become with saying the words. The idea is similar to using flashcards in class. Usually, a teacher shows you a picture card and asks you to say the word. This game brings that kind of practice online.
Remember, the game is not a pronunciation test. There are no grades or pronunciation scores. The system only checks whether it can recognize the word you say. For example, if the target word is “apple” and you say “apples,” it may still be accepted as correct.
You can also turn off this assistance in the Settings menu if you want to make the game more challenging. Sometimes, similar words may also be accepted. For example, if the target word is “plane,” saying “airplane” may also be accepted.
To make the game more exciting, each round contains 8 words. You earn points for every correct answer. However, using the audio or hint button will reduce your score. The maximum score for one word is 200 points, so you can earn up to 8 × 200 points per round.
You can access it directly below using the Chrome browser only.
